Invitation to participate in an Art and Culture event

The Jubilee Alumni Club is thinking of organizing an ART and CULTURE event at Al Thaqafa st. at the end of September. The event will take place exactly on the gallery area and the surrounding place. The event is going to be a mix between crafts, artworks, photography, digital art and multimedia. Also free street music performance.

So if any one who would like to participate in this event or anyone who has such a talent and would like to share it with us and display his work or perform music please contact board member Wael Attili at waelattili@gmail.com no later than 5-September-2005

Honoring the success

Jubilee Alumni-Amman August 10, 2005
The Club organized a dinner at Bristol Hotel in Amman for the school’s newest batch of graduates after they have finished their “Tawjihi” successfully.

In attendance we had Mr. Sameeh Darwasih, Mrs. Abla Zriqat “school principal”, Tawjihi teachers, and some of the club’s board members and students. Dima Jweehan, alumni club president, welcomed the guests and congratulated the students. Ali Al-Dabbas delivered a concise presentation on the alumni club and its activities.

The Jubilee Alumni club presented Mr. Sameeh with an honorary membership to the club. Mr. Sameeh gave a speech to the gradates on how beautiful this country is and the importance of our role in coming back and building it. The dinner was sponsored by Fastlink and the Municipality of Greater Amman.





Outdoor movie night

More than 80 people rushed to the school to watch a screening of the movie Hitch at the Jubilee school. Organized by the club, the outdoor movie night was a blast, and everyone had fun. Free soft drinks and snacks were provided. Although a good portion of the attendants have already seen the movie, sharing it with old school friends was a different and pleasurable experience.




Good Design + Strategy = Good Business

Mr. Ahmad Humeid, a strategy and design expert, conducted a workshop at the Jubilee school about the importance of design and strategy in business. He presented to a crowd of 35 participants from different backgrounds how brands influence our every day life. He discussed what it means to have bad or good design, and then went over several case studies on brand strategies. Mr. Abdel Al-Elah Al-Khateeb first guest speaker

A group of the Jubilee Alumni and students have enjoyed an evening with Mr. Abdel Al-Elah Al-Khateeb. Mr. Al-Khateeb kindly shared some of his valuable experiences and knowledge. This event comes as part of a series of workshops organized by the club at the Jubilee school, aiming to improve skills and knowledge of its members and graduates. Around 25 students and alumni participated in this open discussion with Mr. Al-Khateeb on a variety of issues ranging from youth to politics and economic. The Alumni Club thanks Mr. Abdel Elah for the time he gave us and hopes to have the pleasure of hosting him again.
